About the Art
The memorabilia is attached to a smooth, sanded birch board that is 1 5/8” deep. It is solid and sturdy to hold a variety of mementos. The board may be stained or painted. Archival adhesives are used and dry clear.
On the back of the art – The Story Behind the Art – there is a listing of the items used in the collage with the meaning behind them. There is a brief explanation of why the mementos were used and what they meant to the person or pet. This makes the art a cherished keepsake that can be handed down from generation to generation. The back is completely finished and ready to hang on the wall.

“Anita made me two collages to celebrate a life that was taken too soon from ALS. One of them was going to Bruce Hornsby for whom this person had worked for. When I first saw it, it brought tears to my eyes. It was tears of joy because of how she captured that person’s life in that collage, having worked for Bruce for many years. The pictures, the 3D effect, all of it just flowed together. The other one was made for the husband and it captured their life as husband and wife. The collages are something these people will have forever. It’s really true with the saying: “ a picture is worth a thousand words”.
